Bachchelor of Education course is aimed at preparing teachers competent to meet local and global needs. Hence it is desirable that the tracher trainees of St.Ann’s College of Education put in 75% of attendance
- A trainee shall put in not less than 85 % attendance in theory and 75% in practical of the B.Ed Programme.
- Inspecial cases the Principal my condone the deficiency of attendance not exceeding 10% based on the medical certificate given by an authorized medical officer
- A consolidated monthly attendance wiil be displayed on the Notice Board of the college on the 5th of every month which includes morning assembly attendance
- A candidate who absents herself continuously for a period of 10 days with out reporting to the college is liable for an explanation to the notice issued by the principal . failing which the admission will stand cancelled
- Regular attendance during teaching practice and showcasing days of projects will be taken into consideration for awarding scholarships prizes and gold medals
- All the student activities will be closely monitored mentor-wise
- the medium of instruction shall be English
- The course of Study will consists of class lectures,tutorials assignments , periodicals . Special projects , teaching practice and practical examinations.
- The dress code for students is saree/ salwar Kamzze which should be clean and decent
- Student should give an undertaking that they will abide by the rules of the college.
- Students are strictly forbidden to organize unauthorized meetings in the college or collect money for any purpose with out the permission of the principal
- No notice of any kinds shall be circulated among students or displaued on the notice board with out the approval of the principal
- In all matters affecting the reputation of the college students must conduct them selves with dignity and decorum
2. Library
- A student who has lost a book shall make a written report of the same to the Librarian
- Students and staff are not allowed to sub-lend the books of libraty to any person in any circumstance
- Any book may be recalled by the Library to lend text books to the needy and deserving students with a refundable deposit of Rs 75/-
Examination
- Application forms for Semester End examination shall be submitted to the college with three recent passport size photographs along with necessary certificates
- A candidate is not entitled to claim refund of any examination fee
- A candidate who has failed/ not appeared for the semester end exam will be allowed to appear only for two consecutive attempts
- No candidate shall be allowed to appear for two courses at one and the same time
- The examination will be held as prescribed in the scheme of examination
- There will be two semester end examinations in a year besides practical examinations in two methods opted by the candidates and computer practical examination
- Transitory provision
When ever a course or scheme of instruction is changed in a particular year only tow more examinations shall be conducted according to the old syllabus/regulations
